3^rd Grade week of 6/8/20

This week we will review the places in Spanish by watching a Google video. Then play a game of Gimkit with the places vocabulary. Both the video and Gimkit can be found in the World Language section of your home room teacher’s schoology page. Don’t forget to “shop” when you play Gimkit. You will reach the goal faster.

4^th Grade week of 6/8/20

This week you will record yourself saying what you eat for breakfast, lunch & dinner in Spanish. Watch a Google video in order to get directions. Then go to Flipgrid in order to record yourself. The video can be found in the World Language section of your home room teacher’s schoology page. Flipgrid can be accessed through Clever. Then click on Señor Ohr’s page.

5^th Grade week of 6/8/20

This week we will be doing places in Spanish. Watch the Google video and then answer the questions in the google slide show. Be sure to hit submit when you are done. The video and slide show can be found in the World Language section of your home room teacher’s schoology page.

This week we will continue with places in Spanish (school, the park, the beach.) View the Google video about places and then answer the questions in the slide show. Both can be found in the World Language section of your home room teacher’s schoology page. Be sure to click submit after answering questions in the slide show.

4thGrade week of 5/25/20

This week we will continue with food by studying dinner words.

View the Google video about dinner words. Then, play a game of Gimkit. Both can be found in the World Language section of your home room teacher’s schoology page.

5^th Grade week of 5/25/20

We will finish up with question words this week. View the Google video in order to review the words. The video also gives you directions for what I want you to do in Flipgrid. Go to flipgrid and record yourself asking and answering Spanish questions. The Google video can be found in the World Language section of your home room teacher’s schoology page.

Estoy = I am "Estoy contento" means "I am happy"

Me siento = I feel " Me siento contento" means " I feel happy"

Record yourself saying 5 Spanish feelings. You have choices for your presentation.

You can act out the word, show a picture or use an emoji.

Ex: Say "Estoy contento" a. Act happy or

The Spanish assignment this week for all grades is to watch a short video about "Cinco De Mayo."

This week we will continue with feelings in Spanish.

Review the first half of the Google slide show about Spanish feelings
Describe the pictures in the second half of the slide show with the Spanish vocabulary
Remember to end the word with “o” for a boy

Ex: contentO and “a” for a girl contentA

The word “triste” would be the same for boys and girls

5^thGrade Week of 4/20/20

-Record a presentation about a Spanish speaking country on Flipgrid.

-Name a country. Say where it is located. Name the capital. Name a country next to your country. Show the flag of your country.

Ex: “My country is Guatemala. Guatemala is in Central America. The capital is Guatemala City. Guatemala is next to Mexico. (show the flag of Guatemala)

3rd Grade week of 3/30/20

When we left school, most 3^rdgrades had started “Parts of the Face” in Spanish.

- This weeks assignment will be a game of Gimkit continuing with “Partes de la Cara”

Grade 5 week of 3/30/20

2. Scroll down click on "English" next to American flag

3. Scroll down to "The World"/ Click on Spanish Speaking countries CAPITALS.

4.Locate the CAPITAL CITIES of Spanish speaking countries on the map

5. You are not expected to know them at first, as you play, you will learn where they are located

6. If you guess wrong 3 times, the game will show you where the country is on the map

Note: You do not have to submit a video this week. But, we will eventually be doing a project that includes the name of a Spanish speaking country, where it is located, the name of the capital and what the flag looks like. Just practice learning the capitals this week.
