*****Important Remote Learning Information*****
**   Please use the Schoology link daily to find updates and assignments.
I just wanted to provided some information about how we will utilize remote learning until further notice.
Remote learning will take place through Schoology. Students know how to manipulate the site (creating and submitting documents). You can access the platform through the link on my website, though students should use Clever to get to Schoology. It would be best if the students use their laptops when working on assignments (passwords are saved and the students are familiar with the process using their school MacBooks).
Daily Learning Plans will be posted early each morning.  Students should log onto Zoom at 8:45 and follow the schedule on the plan.  We will be working synchronously and asynchronously throughout the day.  It is important that students come on and off Zoom at the correct times. To the students, I emphasized the importance of establishing a routine. In addition, I have advised the students that if they are not feeling well and will not be logging on to Schoology to work on a specific day, to please have a parent email me that this is the case (for attendance purposes).  Students should start by visiting the Homeroom course each day to find out our agenda for that day.  Each assignment is labeled on the Daily Learning Plan.
Students should visit the special area teacher's Schoology courses for details on special area assignments.
I will be available from 2:15- 3:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday for Office Hour on Zoom.  Please email with with any issues or concerns. This is new to all of us, and there are bound to be some bumps in the road.
One main take away is that this is a stressful time for all, especially the students, and I don't want to add to the stress. If you need anything, do not hesitate to contact me anytime. If students need assistance, they can contact me by messaging me in Schoology.  I will do my best to reply as soon as possible.  I look forward to getting back to normal and seeing all of the kids back in my classroom as soon as possible. All the best to the Aldrich families and the community as a whole.
Please contact me at ncolucci@howell.k12.nj.us if you have any questions or require clarification.
