Teacher Bio

   Welcome to my website. This area of the site is to provide you with a little personal information about myself. If we know and understand one another, I think, we can work together more effectively . 

   I believe my job as an educator is to help young people learn to think for themselves, express their ideas, interpret the world around them, and become more aware and thoughtful humans. I love being part of this process. Not only do I get to watch students mature and grow over time, but as a result of getting to know them, I learn and grow too!

   This is my ninth year teaching at Aldrich School.  Prior to teaching at Aldrich, I spent several years in the Howell Township Public Schools in various capacities. I have a B.A. in Psychology from West Virginia University, Elementary Teaching Certification (K-8) from Immaculata University, and an M.A. in Reading with a Reading Specialist Certification from Georgian Court University.  All these experiences have led me here. I look forward to a wonderful year!
